Mike Jacobs, CHPP, RESL

Mike is the creative mind behind the innovative safety solutions that SafeGuard is offering. He is a certified Homeland Protection Professional through the Global Center for Threat, Risk, and Vulnerability, and the National Sheriff's Association Center for Public Safety. He is a member of the Global Society of Homeland and National Security Professionals and a certified instructor in non-weapons active shooter preparedness. He has received formal training through CalOES, FEMA and the DoD. He has attended business school for business and operations management and majors in Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness. Mike is certified to conduct threat and vulnerability assessments for any site. His reports are comprehensive, confidential and law enforcement sensitive.        


Stephen Foster

Head of Marketing

Steve is heading up SafeGuard's emergency management research division. He is also helping to drive SafeGuard's business planning efforts and go-to-market thinking. He brings a unique perspective to our work gained in his 25 years of market and strategic planning work with the very best firms in the Silicon Valley. Steve holds an MBA in marketing and a BBA in management. He has also attended an array of post-graduate classes in business planning, online marketing strategy, and business development.

Mike is heading up SafeGuard's field operations. Being involved from an early stage of SafeGuard's development, he has become an expert on its platforms, their configurations and applications. As a construction superintendent and project manager for over 25 years, he has successfully managed site safety, productivity, scheduling and quality assurance for multi-million dollar projects throughout the Bay Area. He is also licensed in the nursing community which only adds to his expertise in the emergency management world.
